Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit fer-ads.com, book a call, send us a message or chat with us. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information (Infotv.).

We have not appointed a data protection officer because the law does not require it for our activities. For any privacy question, write to the email above.

2. What we collect and why

2.1 Visiting the website

When you open our website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure.

  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Retention: server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period, as set out in its own privacy policy.

2.2 Booking a call and contact form

When you book a call or send a message, we process the details you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, company, market, message and the chosen appointment time. We use them to answer your enquiry, prepare for the call and send related reminders. The booking calendar and the contact form are provided by HighLevel (LeadConnector) and load only when you click the button to open them; until then your browser does not connect to HighLevel.

  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Retention: [2 years] after our last contact, unless we enter into a contract, in which case contract and accounting retention periods apply.

2.3 Follow-up messages

After an enquiry we may follow up by email, SMS or WhatsApp about your request. Some of these messages are automated or assisted by AI, and a person on our team reviews the conversation. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying “STOP” or emailing us.

  • Legal basis: steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for marketing messages, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

2.4 Live chat

If you accept functional cookies, a chat widget provided by GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) loads on the site. Messages you send there, and the contact details you share, are stored in our CRM so we can reply.

  • Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.

2.5 Marketing cookies and the Meta Pixel

Only if you accept marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel and GoHighLevel tracking to measure how our ads perform (for example, whether a visit from an ad led to an enquiry) and to show relevant ads to people who visited our site. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and we are joint controllers for the collection and transmission of this data (Art. 26 GDPR). Meta processes it further under its own responsibility.   • Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

2.6 Video embeds

Our showreel may be hosted on YouTube or Vimeo. The player loads only when you press play, and the provider then receives your IP address and technical data.

3. Processors and recipients

We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf and under our instructions, or as independent controllers where stated:

  • Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA: website hosting and content delivery.
  • HighLevel LLC and LeadConnector LLC (GoHighLevel), 5473 Blair Rd Ste 100, PMB 383313, Dallas, TX 75231-4227, USA: CRM, forms, booking calendar, chat and follow-up messaging.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland: Meta Pixel and WhatsApp messaging (joint controller for the Pixel, see 2.5).
  • [Email provider, e.g. Google Workspace]: email communication.
  • [Accountant / bookkeeping firm]: only if we enter into a contract.

We never sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some providers are based in the United States or may access data from there. Cloudflare, Inc. and HighLevel LLC / LeadConnector LLC participate in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to them rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for that framework. For any other provider, transfers rely on the Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards where needed.

5. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: enquiries for [2 years] after the last contact, contract-related records for the period required by Hungarian accounting and tax law (generally 8 years), and consent-based data until you withdraw your consent.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data and receive a copy (Art. 15);
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
  • have your data erased (Art. 17);
  • restrict processing (Art. 18);
  • data portability (Art. 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing (Art. 7(3)).

7. Complaints

If you think we have handled your data unlawfully, please contact us first. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority or go to court:

8. Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers.
